Carmella is a transitional boat between the period of wooden boat building an the introduction of fiberglass construction techniques. The hull is glass, while the deck and house are wood.  She was built in Sweden and there is some thought that she may be an Aage Nielsen design from the early 1960's based on the Pilot hull.

The hull is sound, keelbolts and deadwood will be replaced.  Cockpit framing and interior furniture was severely water damaged and is being rebuilt.  F&K Marine is performing 100% of the work. Check back for more photos as her re-fit  is a work in progress.
